This looks quite cool

I think the fact that you used the wooden bowl has helped a lot with the abstract effect given off in this. Would be pretty dull and boring if it were simply on something plain, say like white china or something similar. I like the lighting. It's not really extreme as such but it has caused the oil to cast some nice shadows onto the wood. Nice job. I can never get my oil to look so good

Again it is an awesome picture....I do hope you will write and tell me what it is though....i am really trying to see it's original form but i can't......is it just rocks???? with water...ooooh it's making me crazy.......

no. it's not rocks...
its very abstract. it's some kind of bowl.there are several layers of wood put together and then someone draged smoothly in it to make a bowl of it.
i put water into the bowl and then some olive oil on it.

and in the light of the sun there are nice reflections.

thats the secret
